Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    F22A4 vs Ebay header

what you think will have a better flow

F22A4 upper exhaust mani w/ lower from a ebay header.

    or

the full EBay header, just a cheapo that looks like a Megan rip off and has dermeled inside welds to smooth it

No, the ebay header because the tubes are bigger and will generally flow better. If you're getting enough shit in your exhaust to restrict airflow through the header, something is wrong with your car. I've pulled manifolds off of cars that were 50 years old and I've never seen one clogged enough to make any difference at all.

Tom, if you can find one, I'm very very happy with my Spyder Automotive exhaust. (granted mine was all free, but they're still pretty inexpensive). The build quality was very good and I haven't had any problems with leakage at the flange. The only thing is I don't know where to buy one, but they'll tell you if you email them.

F22A4 Header is just a poor man's header. Aftermarket header are superior than factory in terms of exhaust flow.

be sure to get the larger of the two offered on ebay. There are two sizes, 2.25" outlet and 2", get the larger.

The OEM headers collectors don't look as smooth/free flowing as the aftermarket.

generic headers on ebay come with 2.5" collectors? have you actually measured it.
i am pretty sure the cheap headers on ebay come with 1 7/8" inner diameter collector... unless you are talking about something else

I have found one seller who repeatedly sells the larger...have I bought one and measured for myself...no.

Wish I could say with certainty they are what they are...here's a link.

according to a feedback quest. I asked it is what it's adv. as

they are similarly priced as the other ones so when I DO eventually buy a header I will get that one...and I will measure...but that won't be for a while.
