Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

I'm going to answer for him. It's not worth it to risk it over a $6-7 set of plugs man. Just be patient and do it right.

If the plug is too cold there is risk of fouling during extended periods of idling and low-speed operation.

Colder doesn't mean better, you want to find the sweet spot between fouling at low temp / speed and pre-ignition at high temp / speed. Inspect your old plugs when you take them out, they'll tell you a lot about what's happening in there and if you need a colder / hotter plug. Obviously if you're running turbo / nitrous you're going to go colder for sure...
                    I've said enough.

no actually that was very beneficial...kinda explains why my car keeps shutting off at idle lol

that's why the box say "high rpm's", when you're at high rpm's the temp are too high in the plug and they could make a spark before the right time that's why it's good a set of cold plug's.
