Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    P12 and PT3 ECU?

Anybody swapped the P12 ECU for the PT3?

i know it can be done but im wondering if there is any noiceable difference.

you mean swap the pt3 for the p12?

if you do mean swapping the pt3 for the p12 then yes. i have and i feel the gain from it. it pulls the redline and actually has a little more pep off the line.

no its suppose to be the P12 replacing the PT3.

the P12's are in preludes and the PT3 in f22a1 and a4.

the P12 i read is suppose to have a little more power over the PT3

its rated for a 10hp increase over the PT3. I think thats believeable, everyone I know who's installed it, has felt the power increase.

I've only seen like 2 at the yards in the 3 yrs I've been going, I go to the Pick N pull near me, Preludes are a pretty rare site to be seen in my JY. I did find ONE BB6, thats the one I got my cluster out of. But yeah finding a Prelude S, that has the F22A1, is pretty rare.

^^I know what you mean!! LOL!!^^

I live in the Chi-Town area (the 2nd largest city in the country) and when I was looking for this P12 There were none in the J-yards. And I searched ALL OF THE YARDS IN CHICAGOLAND AREA!! LOL!! Your best bet is to catch one off e bay or check out the classified ads on this forum. And yes, there is a noticable gain. You will feel a difference!
