Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Intake, header, exhaust will liven it up a bit. Lightweight flywheel and a decent clutch will help. Those would be the easier mods, after that you'd be looking at internals to crank out some more power.

You don't need them on stock cams.

              pro and con of h22a....
              pro...NICE power
con...it's mostly topped out as far cheap mods go...plus the h22a parts tend to be more pricey than f22 parts.

But of course the typical I/H/E will add SOME power...2.75" or 3" intake with k&n filter, prolly leave the header (not much gain with aftermarket for under $800), exhaust...well that's not too cheap either

Next mods are very pricey...but you would end up doing these on any engine.

Open up the intake and exhaust...port and polish from the tb to the header...most folks say 2.5" exhaust for n/a builds...but I think that's on the f22...I wouldn't go smaller then that though.

(don't quote me on prices...I'm sure these are a bit off...some more than others)
But that's all very pricey..p&p around $500, plenum and tb little under $200, head $900, exhaust anywhere from $300-$700, cams and ecu (at this point gears) could add a bit but that's prolly over $2000 those alone.

GOOD engine though...nice power with no mods...start small...work your way up.

              *oh yeah...you a bastard...for having such a nice engine...I kid...I jealous is all

get either one or two blacktrax intake manifold spacers. They boost HP by 6whp just by installing those and lower the plenum/intake temps. Pretty easy install.

that will only give u power down low. if u want power up top jus pull iab plate all together. also get a chipped ecu and tune it. ull get alittle more power but alot better gas milage. p13 ecus make that motor run way to rich
