Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Project K24A4 Crank in F22A1 Block

So finally i got my bare f22 block and since i still have the k24 crank laying around, i decided to do a frank boost build for my cb.

heres some pics to start off.

    Stroked F22........Nice!

I'm guessing that the K24 has 55mm mains. I'm not familiar with the K24 crank fitting process. Are you going to mill the crank down to 50mm, ± bearing clearance. Or bore the block main journals out to 55mm (± bearing clearance)?

I thought about doing a stroked F22 myself, but I opted not too. Looking forward to seeing your progress.

not sure yet whats going to be cut, but if i cut the crank, ill use acl f22 bearings. if i cut the block, ill end up using k24 acl bearings. we'll see how it goes

dont cut the block, machine the crank down.

it's a lot easier and you'll run into more complications if you fuck the block up. like for one, cam to crank timing will be off because you just made the crank closer to the surface.

0.5mm Oversized Stainless valves and bronze guides available. Pm me please.

im thinking about picking up a f23 block, since it has 55mm mains, same as k24's
