Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

honestly, for the 100 dollars you should find a h23/h22 upper plenum.

Maxbore is a good source for quality and customer service, I have used them.

Either keep your A6 IM and have it done up or get the H22/H23 upper plenum. Either way those are the better of the common OEM options.

Hopefully you a camshaft to add to this build.

For what it's worth my K24's stock 62mm throttle body is good for 265whp naturally aspirated, so for $50 or less you should be FINE with a stock Prelude (60mm) or S2000 (62mm) throttle body. The diameter will make more of a difference when you start making a LOT more horsepower.

I think you'd be better off spending your money on a header, a cam and a tune over the TB alone.
                VTEC G27? = ???whp ???wtq
                VTEC G23 = 220whp 191wtq
                nonVTEC G23 = 200whp 183wtq
                K24 iVTEC hybrid = 260whp 210wtq

I agree. Simply do the H23 swap and move on with mods suggested above.
