Okay, here is the situation.
I have a 92 5speed that won't start. It turns over, but no spark. I have checked and or changed out the following:
- New coil
- New distributor
- New engine harness
- Changed out ECU
So, I believe that I have been trying to fix the result of something else that is causing a no spark. In checking things out of the blue is when I noticed that the MAP sensor did not have a 5v reference. So I looked at the wiring diagram and saw that the TPS also feeds off the same wire.
Checked the TPS connector and the same thing. So I suspected bad wire. I checked at the ECU and still the same. Changed out the ECU. Same.
Does anyone have any idea what would cause the ECU to not send the pulse to the Ignitor in order for it to create a spark at the coil?
Just so you all know, the ECU works in another car. Same for the coil and dizzy.
I need some help on this one. If not, the car is going to the junker.
