JASMA a decent performance header ?

You should add the add the six sigma Racing header to the list as well as the SMSP header. I know Dave no longer makes headers, but you can still find used ones floating around the world wide web.

Contrary to belief the Mugen does make power as well as the Limited A/X - Tanabe, RS*R and FGK JASMA spec headers. It really comes down to preference and how much you want to spend on a header.

And yes, Mugen has actually shown to be the best of all in testing. Granted, they had the highest budget.



I do agree that what you want depends on your budget and your goals. The ESP header shows a pretty impressive gain after a tune on their dyno results, and I've never known ESP to make ANY puffed up claims. To my knowledge, ESP is one of the most up-front, honest companies you can go with. The ESP header may not make the same numbers as a $1000 header, but it's close enough that someone who isn't pushing for every last possible horsepower would be satisfied.
I don't condone the use of knockoff copies of specialized header designs, like HyTech, SMSP, RMF, Bisimoto, etc... (even though Bisi says that Randy of RMF stole his design... I'll leave that accusation to Bisi.) I don't have a problem with the DC Sports knockoff designs found on ebay, though. I don't even think less of those that buy a $50 header, as long as they know they are getting minimal gains, if any.
