    Need a good resonator

Ok, i bought an ebay catback, im happy with the muffler but i want a diffrent resonator. Someone advise me on one that will sound a bit better than the pos thats on there now. I want to reduce the rasp as much as possible, without making it any quieter. Its got the typical straight thru 4" tip muffler on it now. The system hasnt been installed yet.

you could get a vibrant resonator or the magnaflow ones

i have a ebay catback i liked it at first but now it is kinda annoying since it sits too low in the back and i scrape it all the time

Magnaflow 24" long, 4" round resonator. It helps it sound really good. Or you god do two 12" resonators in parallel. That would help a lot.

I installed a Flowmaster "Hushpower Shorty" in place of my cat. It gives my exhaust a nice tone, no rasp.

the ebay exhaust system resonator is okay although a little undersized, if it was just a little fatter like a thrush glasspack it'd be right on. However with the test pipe its horrible, a magnaflow rep. cat with flanges that are a direct fit will be my next purchase, however I need to double check the length of the testpipe/gap from DP flex to "cat back" piping; they seem a little short. Hopefully that will kill the high frequencies. After that if its not better the straight thru canister with 4" tip will be swapped back to my old 3aracing dual dtm oval muffler. The 4" tip canister does scrape a lot coming out of driveways and parking lots, funny it wont going in but leaving or backing out it will scrape, so much now the edge between the end of the cylinder where it meets the back end now has a hole on the bottom..nothing a little jb weld cant plug.
