Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

if u get the superconductor wires OMG def helps u out...not a huge difference in power gain but def better idle, better accel, better fuel economy. if u go with the basic msd wire....very little difference. hope this helps!

That also means you are using the MSD 0.8 ohm resistor...Although the Honda stock ignition is high powered, the MSD can free up existing horsepower in the top end. Its a great improvement, plus all the characteistics of the car are smoother.

I hope your voltage is not jumping all over the place then. MSD makes a Ballast resistor for people who want to run the coil alone. Basically it keeps the voltage in line so your turning signal doesnt just go off, or you brake lights flashing nonstop. (happenned to me before i got it). It is necessary when running coils like the blaster ss, 2 and 3 in our CB's. Unless your car has no electrical problem so far...how long you have been running the coil?

Damn, my car really was one of the few cars that got screwed. I ran a Blaster 2 coil and the voltage would do things like make by brake light come on, turning signals, you name it. I installed the resistor and it took a while but everything went back to normal.
