Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

I think i see what you are saying, but turbos run hot by nature. The coolant lines are to prevent coking, they do no really affect spool up. The only way i see that happening is if you ran the car on a 200 mile track course and your engine was running hotter as the day goes on.

well your almost right, you run the stock o2 off your car it fits in the dsm o2 bun and plugs right in since its oem, intercoooler is also needed, oil lines, uberdata, copper plugs since platinums run too hot, couplers, you don't need a mbc, you need the manifold and a titanium drill bit, hose clamps, a saws saw to cut into block to make the turbo fit and for running charge piping, a welder or alot of jbweld to put on the bov or run the oem flange off the dsm or buy one from www.tunertoys.com or www.stealthmodeperformance.com

dude reread my post some of what u said is true but the rest is just a repeat he asked for what was neededfrom the car not how to do it ie sawsall seems like you posted a bunch of stuff that might deture him from persuing this and the o2 from our cars is not pinned the same as the dsm o2 sensor platnium plugs can be run just regaped to i think .38, dont use jb weld it a disaster waiting to happen do it right or dont do it, yes you need a mbc cause our motor wont take the 11.8 psi that the dsm set up put out it needs to be regulated the lowest i think the kit will go is like 8.4 psi from what the dsm tuner guy tell me which is perfect for a D/D with a good tune our motor would take 10psi

first off, boost controllers have nothing to do with lowering boost pass the set wg psi. You have to deal with the arms/springs and the actual wastegate to lower the boost. And depending on the turbo, 16g set at 12psi, 14b set at 8psi. and a f22a can take 12 psi on a proper setup
