Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Honda engines have always been a showcase of engineering. Big news for '06 is a new 140-hp, 1.8-liter i-VTEC® engine that's standard in all Civic Coupe DX, LX and EX models.
        140-hp, 1.8-Liter, 16-Valve SOHC i-VTEC® Engine

Speed, power and performance. The new 140-hp engine was made to achieve the fuel economy of a 1.5-liter engine, with a class-leading 40 mpg highway and 30 mpg city. A host of new technologies including special engine mounts, newly designed crankshaft, engine block, pistons and connecting rods help achieve remarkable smoothness.

The only Pre-'06 SOHC 1.8L Honda engine was the Early model Preludes.

          They had the SOHC- A18A1

But thats taking it back, thats like 87 or so...
