lol, w/e dude, it's the internet, believe what I want to but I did the diy filter on stock tubing, muffler, and synpower synthetic. In 80f temps it'd do it on both the stock tires and even with the aftermarket 15's I had. It'd almost always scratch a bit from a stop, no brake launch or N launch. Not so much now b/c I have really sticky tires, but if I'm going around a slight turn the inside tire skips pretty hard.
Like I was saying about condition, my car is now only around 135k. I also know that torque converters can lock up and shift hard, so it could be a side affect from an adverson condition. I haven't changed the tranny fluid since I got it two years ago at 90k, but Ive heard that while clean in high heat/lots of short trips the tranny fluid in autos can break down much faster, and it gets quite hot here plus I do lots of city/short trips. So it's possible it was getting too hot and locking the torque converter up a bit. I added some transmission oil cooler (I know there is lots of controversy about addatives but I tried it just to see) and the torque converter and the whole transmission in general shifts much smoother(albeit it doesn't pull as hard when it shifts).... take from it what you want but this is my experience.

. All in all the power to chirp the tires or have a fast car is there with an auto tranny. It all depends on how fast your tranny gears engage(condition of tranny), the tcu you have, tq converter stall rpm, etc. There is a lot of stuff that goes into play when you try to compare an auto car to a manual.
