    cat back

hey i've been wondering about getting a cat back for my car, but i want my muffler at a angle like pointing up to the right. how would i do that? would i just buy a whole cat back system then have a muffler shop do it? or jus buy a muffler i want and have it customed fit at a muffler shop?

    Either way will work
Is it the muffler you want pointing up or the muffler tip?

its hard for fitment because the bumpers are not forgiving space wise.

you have to get a N1 Type exhaust otherwise it wont look right and as if the muffler shop pooped.

the piping may also be lower to the ground so beware of it scraping.

actually, try finding a N1 type exhaust with a LONG tip on it.

the only angled exhaust ive seen in person was one with a fireball type and the canister was going through the muffler slot.

that fireball exhaust is 2.5" and it is a pretty nice exhaust. A dude i met at a honda meet had one and it doesn't look too bad. I was thinking of buying one, they are only $225 shipped.

the HKS is the best. also Aspec is a cheaper exhaust but sounds good.

Right now im running ds sport headers, test pipe, resonator, custom 2 1/4 " catback and mangaflow muffler. its loud. i think i need a cat. but if your going to get an exhaust, its best to buy the whole catback.

whats a resonator? dose it make the exhaust louder?

Just the opposite. It will actually quite down the exhaust a bit and remove some raspiness.

Resonators come stock on a cb7 exhaust. They are the sections that look like catalytic converters.

                            ...adjust accordingly
