Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

well the sound gets eliminated at the resonators now so the droning is probably b/c of those. If you have a free'er flowing exhaust, then yeah its louder but less drone? idk just trying to think of a solution. Maybe add more dynamat sound deadening to your trunk/rear seat area. I've got a greddy evo2 which has 2 resonators built in and there isn't that much of a drone at speed.

thanks, i think my problem is just that i have TOO MUCH flow for a close-to-stock n/a setup.

this may be a little off-topic from my op, but.. since f22a4 tubular exhaust manifolds are similar to an ebay header, would they both produce the same flow/sound, or would they come out to be different all together? i think my cheap-o header is the main source of loudness, that and the magnaflow cat. i can source an a4 header easier then i can get an oem-style cat, so i'd rather try that first

i hate myself for trying to get so much exhaust flow out of this header-back. it's more annoying then beneficial. i guess i'm paying for it now...

I think the 4 door and 2 door are the same size aren't they?

should be, cause i've never seen an option for 2 or 4-door when browsing online stores for exhaust
