Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

So is it the consensus that a 92-96 prelude 3" cold air intake will fit in the 90-93 accords without any modifications except cutting the hole below the battery?

If so I'm getting this to go with my H23 IM swap:

yeah that should fit even better, since it has two sections which you can twist and kinda form to fit. Mine was only ONE long pipe, it was difficult to say the least haha, but i managed.

This intake is for 90-93 accords and advertises the 3 inch piping as well

Since different diameters and lenghts of pipe resonate at different frequencies (RPM's), AEM basically made to different lengths and diameters of pipe on 1 intake to increase the amount of resonance tuning. They are dyno proven fairly repeatedly to have an increase over a regular straight tube intake, but IMO it is a small gain for the amount of $$.

we would only see positive gains from a 3" intake with an IM upgrade from the stock one (ie h23/a6), correct?

SHITTT. I won this auction right here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=170187735793 and it came today. Turns out the piping is not even close to 3 inch like it says all over the auction. Its like 2.5-2.75. Did anyone else order one that was actually 3 inch? This guy better send me my money back

that shoud be the intake and exhaust that gets the good reviews I THINK. I know for sure the exhaust gets good reviews. And the CAI looks like the 1 if I remember right. I just have to find the EBAY Header that gets good reviews too. 300 bucks for I/H/E w00t
