Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Your sig is HUGELY over-sized. Please read the rules and re-size it.

Very nice ride, very big sig! For launch control you'd have to chip/ tune your ecu and set it at your desired rpm.To be honest you should do well without it so you can actually control what rpm you launch at for different situations and road conditions.

Yea but soon very soon! (Next month) I will be boosted and only time I will be racing is on 1 weather condition or at the track! And plus I wana pop flames lol. But is this somthing I can do by myself by chipping and tuning it?

There's a lot more knowledgable people here that can give you better advice but, yes when its chipped you can set it at your desired rmp.For instance, I'm running a chipped po6 and I'm using chrome.I have mine set at 3200 but, never use it!Since I have a chip burner I'm able to go on my computer and adjust settings whenever. Also, I think we have a forum here for matters dealing with ecu' s that may be helpful to you.Its something I recently became involved with and and am studying so Id hate to mislead you in anyway.A badly setup ecu can destroy a great engine.
