Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

By now I'm sure you found a ecu. I feel it's worth mentioning that I've been researching ecu's for f22b dohc http://www.hondata.com/techecuid.html says The non vtec Prelude is a p14. If your looking for a tunable ecu http://www.phearable.net/ has non vtec ecu's for descent price and you choose the rev cut, ect.

Just a note; Buying a chipped OBD1 ECU from Phearable would require a tune as well. Running a stock engine on a base map has no guarantees. Better off trying to find a stock ECU or running a P14 (H23) ecu.

How do your AFR's look? Have you ever had a wideband hooked up? Not doubting you but base maps can be hit or miss. However, in this case an F22B DOHC is basically the same map as any of the other Non VTEC F22 maps. DOHC or SOHC doesn't matter.

the f22b is basically an h23 i dont see why u cant just run an h23a1 ecu. granted there is a .1 difference in displacement but if you NEED it to run then thats the closest thing.

The DOHC F22B runs a P39 ecu as you already seem to know. Some people seem to do fine on a PT6 ecu (f22a6 ecu). I would find a P06 and have it chipped and then tuned to your engine.

If you want to run the H23 ecu then you have to wire in a knock sensor. As the F22B DOHC doesn't have one.
