Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Boost control Solenoids?

Does anyone know who sells just the solenoids without a controller?
Not the strictly ON/OFF type, but the type that can be pulsed?

Haha I know . . . I got the rundown from Jose AFTER I'd brought it.
That would be great if you could do that - Its hard finding people willing to ship this far out. I can make it easy for you, it can be shipped straight to Honda NZ
Just looked on their site, and I see its a 3 port - whats the 3rd port for?
Do you hook the connections up the same as a MBC?

Edit: While I'm at it you wouldn't be able to do a 3bar map sensor as well could you? And are you able to provide values for it?

We have 2 and 3 bar map sensors, I can get you pricing Monday. Also, the three ports are used for different reasons. The main reason is for running high boost or max boost with an external wastegate. If you pressurize the top of your external wastegate, it makes it open up even later than when it is not pressurized. Thus, you run one line into it, and then one line to the top and the bottom of your external wastegate.
What values are you needing btw?

What are you using to tune??? GM 3 BAR sensor values are integrated in CROME. The solenoid has three ports one in from vac/boost reference.... 1 to wastegate (the top of the wastegate- bottom port on the WG still goes to straight reference, or you can T it off before the solenoid....), and 1 that when the solenoid is oscillating to bleed off through... On the AVCR solenoid... You leave the bottom port (on the solenoid) open.... to breathe/bleed off...

              make sense???

SOme are different though... I know the one with the EE boost controllers are... wish I could be more help. I bought the AVCR and its fucking awesome..

That makes sense - Thats how I have my MBC connected atm.
What make are the map sensors Haltech lists?
I will need these values for the map sensor (3bar one) To allow a custom map sensor to be made in Hondata.

                    Scalar - mbar/volt
                    Offset - mbar

                    Thanks

I would have gone down the track of factory plugs, but simply put, the Cyclone and Typhoon don't exist over here.
