Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    help i need answers quick.

    so if i use my dsm setup i have to get rid of my front motor mount?
    what if i turn the turbo the oposite way like where the cold side is on the driver side? will the turbo clear the radiator?

      i understand that. my main ? is will the turbo clear the radiator if i turn it the oposite way. i cant put the motor in the car right now and i have to go get my down pipe made tonite. so i was just wondering?

        just ditch the front mount. i havent run one for years.

          if you do away with the front mount, fill the other ones or get inserts. if you dont theres a good chance your p/s pump will put dents in your hood from the inside.

            no way the motor will move that much to hit the PS pump on the hood.

                trust me, it moves that much on crappy stock mounts. and i was only running a t25 at 7psi.
                Fill the mounts with urethane, or buy inserts, its worth it.

                      i dont see how that could happen! i ran 25psi on a broken rear auto mount and never hit my ps on the hood.
