Please DO NOT Post In The General Section
From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.
The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.
For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.
Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.
Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

We have been killing ourselves to get it ready for display at Pink's all out. My sumped gas tank didn't get finished yet, but all the plumbing for the dual Bosch 044 has been done. Minor touches and details have been changed, from vacuum line re-routing to all chrome plated hardware in the engine bay.
Things I have left to do are, detail on engine wiring, install the fuel tank, install the S2000 guage cluster, repaint the car and clean up the interior. Not too much left, but I figure it will be running on Monday or Tuesday for sure. Tuning will follow.
Almost done... On the trailer for display at Pinks all out (that I did not make it to)

Who said it doesn't run? It's been running and runs just fine. I have a life outside of cars and the internet, so I don't post every single waking thing that I do. Sorry.
I didn't build or have this car built for you, nor the internet, not for a magazine. I didn't even build it to represent my shop. I built it for the one person who is going to drive it... ME.
I will choose to drive it the way I feel... wether that is on a mountain cruise, to the drag strip, or to a car show. It functions just fine, flashy and detailed.
There are many "experts" who can do it cheaper and better, I am sure... so quit paying attention to what I do, and go build a better one, your way.Last edited by 2point6; 01-09-2011, 03:12 PM.

i am sorry to say, but kswaps in accord will never have a bandwagon following. The swap is expensive and very few are willing to put that much money into an accord. in the civic/integra world they will bc there are more of them out there. there are only 2 cb's with kswaps running. and a few that are in progress but it will never reach the bandwagon level.
scott keep doing what your doing. building your car for you.

I've known this car's go far before I knew it's show...
I always liked the way it looked, but my true admiration has always been in what's under the hood... be it the N/A H22 that was killing Z06s (which is pretty my my inspiraton for my own engine), or the current turbo K (which is as far as I know they only one of its kind in a CB)

well i can tell u one thing. scott is doing something right, bc he has a long list of haters on this site.
why can't yall just appreciate the work he has put in on his car. if you dont like or think he wasted money or time then dont post. its that simple.
i thought this site was setup for us underdog accord owners to stick together. but now i see its just like any other forums where people hate on what someone else does.MR:http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=150506

ladies and gents....
things got out of hand, lookin back at the thread it seemed to have been my fault.
I made a simple comment which blew everyone way out of proportion.
All negativity has been deleted, and I APOLOGIZE for the b.s. that I started.
I take full blame into where it ended up and never desired for it to go that route.
Not asking for forgiveness, just a man willing to admit when things go south.
again I apologize, sincerely, lets move pass this and back on topic.
If you have negative comments for me, please keep in a pm.
Thank you!Last edited by drummersteve7; 01-10-2011, 10:05 PM.

Couldn't have said it better myself.Originally posted by TypeG View Posti think there is something about a k-series that bothers the average accord owner for some reason. not sure why.
people also say the only reason do this swap is to be different. i believe a good reason to do the swap is for the new technology. later.
