ok time for me to chime in....
well, dsm o2 housing wouldn't work for me. i had this guy nick from nsfabrication (ebay) make me a custom o2 housing with a 2" wg dump and a 2.5" umm o2 part that connects to the downpipe (yeah ) then i have a 2.5" 2 bolt flange that was welded to the downpipe. the installation of the downpipe (im my case anyway) was a bitch. at the muffler shop, he had to tack the two nuts to the housing, then add studs, then add locking washers and nuts. it made my life easy since today i removed my chra (turbo) since me and gdout are going to get my new one. i also had them install my flex pipe, and my street legal high flow cat, also a o2 bung and plug for my zeitronix zt-2. just fyi, don't bring generic mandrel j bends to a muffler shop, they wont touch em. bastards. when it was all said and done i had to cough up 165 bux. ouch! but the guy did do a lot of work, he removed many items from the engine part of the splash guards, my ac fan...list goes on and on. another point, my car was loud as hell before the turbo, now that i have everything connected, it sounds great. real deep, and quiet. awesome.
also the wg dump from start of flange (right next to the gasket) to outermost part of bend MUST be less that 2.5" hope this helps. i will post pics soon when my car quits spewing oil everywhere.

ok, so with the stock dsm o2 housing, you can't have a downpipe bigger then 2.5". So it can be 2.5", because that is what I plan on running. Would it be easier to put a o2 bung in the downpipe to run a wb o2, or use the narrowband o2 bung and run the wb o2 there.

Iamanonymous, do you have your wideband hooked up yet? I would like to see the a/f on your map. I'd also like to get that map soon.

alright the stock dsm o2 location is for your regular o2 sensor. the o2 bung for the wideband o2 needs to be further down. i put mine where the stock location on my car was, just before the flex pipe. just make sure you have clearance they have to be mounted pretty much straight up. and no, im very sick, so i haven't installed my wideband yet. i still need to install my tranny clutch and flywheel too since my clutch does nothing but slip. i imagine that will mess up my readings a little....im shooting for 11.5-11.7. btw even with my tubular o2 housing, i don't think i could run a 3" downpipe. i gave my map to renr and i think midnite has it too. remember it's a basemap.

keeblers write up also talks about simulating the narrowband through the wideband. So you mounted yours before the flex pipe, and it has to be straight up? like the sensor part pointing towards the sky or the sensor part pointing towards the ground? Just checking so I don't screw it up.

point the sensor to the sky. wires on the top.

honestly i only know of a couple people it has worked for (r33, azn), but three people it hasn't (me, gdout, and my friend accord chris). that's just off the top of my head. it's possible it may work, but for me the dsm o2 housing was twice as wide as i needed. i would plan on buying an o2 housing like mine if u wanna keep your ac.

the wastegate pipe is too wide since it is a single cast piece. it clipped my ac line where it connected to the ac compressor. using the stock dsm o2 housing was not possible for me. my downpipe connector pipe is at the exact location of the dsm 02 housing outlet.
