Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Civic dual core.

Mount by using oem passenger side top and moving driverside over to fit. Drill/tap new holes, top is ready to go.

Bottom side you'll need to grind off the brackets, alter to accept civic radiator, move and reweld.

Here is one way to do it.......
      http://ghostaccord.blogspot.ca/p/coo...brication.html

You don't need to remove both mounts like I did. I did that so that the rad was moved all the way over to the passenger side. This will allow for more room for a custom exhaust.

Or you could go the cheap route and use zip ties.... ether way you want an aftermarket dual core 1/2 rad and a slim fan.

        Your blog kicks ass!

Loving the white housed lights, any pics on the car? What about light output through high beam? Curious what that does for the color of your light output.

Sorry op, not trying to take it off topic.

Thanks, I haven't done any updates in a while. My daily driver is sucking up most of my moeny these days. The Accord will get done one of these days though. Hope to have the body work all finished this winter. Then I'll finally be able to see what the headlights look like mounted and what the output is like. The light output for me is probably not going to matter much. She will probably end up being a weekend track car/sunny day driver.

I am running 20-AN fittings and lines so I'm not 100%. IIRC the stock rad hoses should work if you keep the rad in the same area. You could get some silicon hose and custom cut the hoses yourself. Most transport truck parts stores should sell if by the foot.

I haven't really looked into it but a few local guy are using I believe 300zx half rad's. They are slightly longer than the civic. I'm not sure of any needed modification

Never looked into a 300Zx rad. What are it's dimensions and how well do the inlet and outlet ports line up? How do the rad mounts line up with the chassis?

The dual core Koyo ($299) or Yonaka ($179) Civic Half rads from Xenocron.com both have a larger cooling surface area than an OEM Accord Rad. In conjunction with a 13" 1500cfm slim fan they would be more than enough to keep things cool. Even on a boosted build.

Yonaka 1/2 rad and Maradyne 13" Slim Fan combo!
