negative at his power levels tuning is the key you should ony get turbocams when your runnin 500 and up unless your a supra or another supercar.

Please DO NOT Post In The General Section
From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.
The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.
For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.
Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.
Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

How much boost?

I see you're using a AFC for 14.5lbs of boost, all I have to say is. HAHAHAHAHAHA OMFG!!!!!!!!Originally posted by turbo90accordall you need is an afc!! a 3 bar map sensor is totally unessassary for you setup and you should just leave your cam timing alone if your gonna mess with anything it should be your fuel trim and your ignition timing leave everything else alone. your fuel pressure regulator is fine! the reason your running rich is because of bad fuel tuning not any other parameters.
keep it simple- keep it powerfull!
But at any rate, I reccomend you get a new map sensor to fix the problem.

I am not using the "hack" where most would have all their settings in negative values on the afc. i just think too many people put way to much money and time to get what 220-240 hp? not worth it to me but hey i also spent the money for big streetable power so....Originally posted by AcclipseH23Optimum performace and HACK have nothing in common. Usually you use an AFC when nothing else is available. With opitons like Chipped ECUs available for those on a budget...why would you? The absolute best thing for him to do is get a new map. However, if its too rich, cut fuel presure down slightly. There are plenty of things available to help fine tune your setup like Cam gears and FPRs. A HACK is not one of them. Any kind of condition the ECU is unaware of hurts your overall performance which is essentially what the AFC HACK is. Save that for people with Nissans or Toyotas, who do not have any other affordable options.

Well I did go ahead and put that boost controller on and brought it up to 12.... no much noticeable and at about 3900 rpms my fuel curve has a slight dent in it and I can hear the valves pinging around, but before and after that it's fine. I think I'm going to take MidnightRaceX's advice, since he knows best anyway, and leave it at 10. Maybe I'll just use 12 for those little bit faster cars
Anyway I do need to re-tune my ECU, and I guess that will be done soon.
Actually I rebuilt my turbo yesterday... and I think something was screwed up with it beforehand the whole time, now it seems to be spooling up a lot faster and harder, i mean extremely. Well I didn't really re-build it, just swapped out parts and stuff between mine and another 14B. Anyways, it's really kicking ass right now, even only at 10psi. By the way where's a good place I can find one of those turbo cams for the F22A?? I've been thinking seriously about getting one, if not then at least for my other motor (that I blew on nitrous). That's my original motor and I'm going to be doing a lot of work to that one here soon.Hondas don't leak oil... they just mark their territory.

Oh and one more thing, MidnightRacerX.... I have had my car running with the DSM setup and 14B turbo for a good 6 or 7 months right now, and it is still running strong and hard. I haven't ever run into any problems (blown gaskets, etc.) Of course I, too, don't really always drive my car hard either (unless i just feel like having fun every once in a while) Usually just daily cruising, if I boost at all, it'll be like 3 to 5 psi or so... usually. Depends on my mood really.Hondas don't leak oil... they just mark their territory.
