Hey guys, I was thinking of getting a manual boost controller because I think my wastegate actuator isn't working properly, I heard if you put on a MBC then you kinda bypass the actuator. Is this true? Also, any particular brand I should get?

no, please don't tell him that!
He's avoiding the real problem, his wastegate flapper is probably stuck wideopen at all times. A boost controller doesn't solve that and its been almost a year and he hasn't fixed this

he hasn't taken the o2 housing off to find out if its the actuator or if the wastegate hole is cracked or what. So until he does he shouldn't be looking into buying anything especially not a boost controller ya knowKnowledge is power...in EVERY sense of the word

Btw on our motors being boosted and all lemme put the word out over say 11psi for the map sensors your going to have to override it with a 3-bar map instead. So I have a 3-bar from hondata part number 12223861 from lightningmotorsports brand new well not now but thats who i got it from. You can also get one from the boosted grandnationals.
BTW I wanna know where can we get the best plugs for boost. Ngk 6 i believe they are for a b-series lets just put that out there so that well all can get that out of the way aswell.
So let us be reminded again
1)sparkplugs for boost ngk bcpre's gotta figure out more on that
2)3bar map sensor-hondata
3)what kind of wastegate im runnin a tial-38mm
comon mrx help us out.
Ohyeah btw im trying to learn how to tune but im sure youll show me how my tuner flaked out on me again ive come this far onmy project all i need is a little motivation for myself. Soon sparkle will know how to tune.

when the shop was taking it apart to fix the leaks they said they didn't see anything wrong with the turbo, so i guess maybe the actuator is messed up. how much will you sell it for acclipse? You have been defeated by a car with child locks, how embarassing...
