Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

i know, so your gauranteed to have some heat in the charge pipes. I'd like to see how this goes, but for now I'm sticking with the h20 on the intercooler just for fun

cant you just redirect the windshield washer feed hose to the front of the intercooler?
You have been defeated by a car with child locks, how embarassing...

we're not talkin about a water sprayed FMIC, this is a much more effective method to lower intake temps

I am running meth/water injection. I'm using a kit from sts for a twin turbo Z06. Im not sure if a fuel pump will get you to what you want. Its easy to make a kit, but remember if anypart fails under boost. Your screwed. With my kit if there is a failure on anypart, it cuts boost to pervent any damamge. The injection system is also triggered by the amount of boost.

If you do make your own kit, just cross your fingers you dont run out of water under boost.

i never said that, i just said i wouldn't trust it, you'd probably hydrolock your motor.

I know your referring to my thread

something wikkedv16 and myself were discussing a long time ago... all ive ever heard was awesome things about it, its proven to cool charge temps by quite a bit. while its scary and risky, all it produces is benefits. and 120 is much cheaper than what i was seeing a while back, dsm fuel pump is a good idea, as long as it produces enough pressure (volume isnt a worry)

the only catch is that the pump has to be submerged.. if i keep the eclipse i am using one, if i get an mr2 i am going to have to get a shur flo pump because it is going to be trunck mounted..
