Please DO NOT Post In The General Section
From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.
The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.
For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.
Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.
Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

You cant just replace them. You need to get the kaizen speed balance shaft eliminator kit. Its just a bunch of plates and other plugs that you need to use to plug up all the holes left when you take out the balance shaft.
The balance shafts are long shafts that run parallel to the crankshaft and controls the engine vibration by spinning the opposite way to counter act the engine vibration.

on my old motor i just took the balancer shaft belt off... rode it for a long time like that...
on my current motor i used a kazzenspeed elim kit. FIY the crank girdle must come off to tap/plug a hole and put in a few other plugs... My only complaint about it is that i make a lot of oil pressure. When its hot at idle i make 40psi and when i cruise its about 80psi and when getting on the gas it can go above 100psi... I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing but its ok...12.5 at 114.6mph 15psi
11.7 and 11.5 20.5psi
