u dont weld.......they come with couplers and depending on what kit you get they either come with crap clamps or t clamps.....t clamps are much more preferred since they hold much much better.

Please DO NOT Post In The General Section
From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.
The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.
For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.
Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.
Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

clutch and welds
yes I know about the 500 mile break in my friend, just city driving. I bought it off ebay and it didnt look right plus ACT are not supposed to have stages I found out later, that means they are a knock off. Just ratings no stages.
Also you can weld aluminum as you can see here in this picture. Just need a MIG welder, f22hb did it for me off my ebay aluminum piping. it is possible and it is a beautiful weld he did for me. It was real late so I just wanted to get done what I needed. Soon enough though I want to get the entire thing welded. Prob gunna wait till I get my own welder. Prob in about 6 months. Right now couplers/t-bolts work.
This is from my 2" J-pipe he cut then moved to hit my 2.5" intercooler piping. You can see the weld right by my exhaust mani.

its not a knockoff ebay clutch cuz i ordered it off of http://www.advancedclutch.com. I couldnt remember what it was called but its a sport pressure plate with the spring centered 4 pad disc. Thought im wondering if i should have gone with the heavy duty pressure plate....

I bought a IC piping kit from ebay member cxracing(justintercoolers.com) and instead of a generic "accord, civic, integra, etc." kit, I ordered a "kit" for a 240sx, which included all bends no straights,
2x u bends didnt use
2x 45* rolled end
2x 90* mid bend rolled end
2x 90* early bend with rolled ends
1x 90* reinforced coupler in blue unfortunate but if used where washer resivoir is youll never see it anyway!
1x 45* reinforced coupler also in blue but again, use it in the passenger side inner fender.
6x reinforced red straight couplers
all pipes in black, cheap paint but looks good lol,
and 2mm thickness, 2.5" diameter
16x tbolt clamps, which blow regular hose clamps out the water! But dont torque the heck out of them. I broke one lol. also couldve used two maybe even four more of them but theyre are like 5 bux a piece at hydralic stores!
shipping was relatively fast two and a half weeks to canada, but customs holds parcels for a bit and the weather sucked for the most part so its ok!
I would recomend them!

All you need is a tig welder that has the setting for ac instead of dc. Aluminum gives you alot of creativity when welding with it. It is really easy to play with. Thus puttin cb7tuner on the charge pipe. I couldn't help myself. lol
