Please DO NOT Post In The General Section
From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.
The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.
For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.
Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.
Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Your vtec working? I couldnt hear it kick in. Mine is like whoa crazy.. def. tell the difference.
And if you want fast ass cars... try GT3 Porsches. There were 3 of those beasts at autocross today(white, silver and yellow), 2 on hoosiers, and those things whooped everything out there including corvettes. I dont really like vettes since you can tell they are made cheaply, and there are too many of the stupid things around. I would take a CTS-V though.Last edited by aero; 03-05-2005, 11:54 PM.

Yeah i didnt burn the chips so i dont have the bins. and they didnt tune it AT ALL, on the dyno 3 runs, off the dyno, next car went on. 50 car dynoed all together..
And its not like i knew that it was suppose to be dynoed in 4th, i just let them drive it, i wasnt even in the car, i thought they were the pros...H22 Prelude VTEC 92-96 200 161 10.6:1 87 90 DOHC VTEC 2157 JDM

here you go, this is what eric said, and i emailed jason at torque freaks to ask him. too and i will reply with that one too.
This is what eric said.
Ocean Of Awesum: i did 3rd and forth..there was only like a 1-2hp difference
lol.. goes to show how much they look up a cars info when dynoing.. that also makes me wonder if they put in the right numbers on the dyno system.. ur suppost to put the final drive i believe.. if this is changed the power out-upt is changed.. none-the-less props..H22 Prelude VTEC 92-96 200 161 10.6:1 87 90 DOHC VTEC 2157 JDM

If you read the dyno sheet you'd see they had the smoothing level set to 5 which is the highest setting in the WinPeP software. Meaning it presents the LEAST amount of detail so even if the pull was choppy it would appear smooth. Also the correction factor was set at .95 SAE which isn't to bad and is suppose to be automatically generated by the WinPeP software depending on the input is gets from it's baro sensor.
In anycase it doesn't look bad however you can't take the numbers as actuall facts but more as a guideline. You're on the right track phat! Thumbs up dude.
Also you don't need to input the final drive ratio into a Dynojet Dyno. With just a working inductive pick-up, calibrated roller/software, and a properly mounted sensor array the unit can make all the apporiate measurements. It really is a great peice of machinery. Just a shame that so many shops have one and can't use it worth a damn.Last edited by BustedLX; 03-06-2005, 11:50 PM.

well that is good and not good, eh. i think they will put alot more detail into it if you are actually not paying 30 dollars..lol and they were kinda pressed for time i guess dynoing that many cars..
but i just learned alot from bustedlx!H22 Prelude VTEC 92-96 200 161 10.6:1 87 90 DOHC VTEC 2157 JDM
