Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

The Type-S pistons are OEM honda parts and they are compatible with the H22's FRM cylinder liners. If is just a matter of getting pistons to match your H22 block, whether your block is an 'A' block with an 87.00mm bore or a 'B' block with an 87.25mm bore. You would have to get pistons that match the designation. You might also want to have the cylinders honed to make sure they aren't out of round.

H23 cams would not work at all...They are for a non-vtec head.

Why dont you just upgrade to a stage 1 cam...Either way it wont do anything. The h23 vtec had an almost if not identical head to an h22. The only h22 that has a different cam profile is the Euro R and Type S as I recall. I would still upgrade to a stage 1 if you want minor gains.

                          1. Your thread is titled h22a4 and I doubt you have a Euro R.
                          2. Sounds like you need to do more research.
                          3. Learn to spell the parts you are getting for your car correctly.
                          4. Just because you get a "thin" head gasket does not mean your compression is going to be 12:1 there is a lot more to calculating this than just guessing.

There is no such thing as an h23 euro R or any I have heard of.
