    Rear suspension pops

Ok so when ever I go a slope like into a gas station I have to go side ways, and I go into tripod mode, and when that 4th wheels spring recompresses it let's out a loud pop, any idea what could be causing this? Acctually now that I think of it it doest it when ever one of the rears extends then recompresses, but it doesn't happen if Jack it up then let it back down

Try tightening the bolts at the top of the strut tower. If that doesn't work... it could be blown.

The spring could be popping out of the perch and when you drop back down it pops into place.

If tightening up top doesn't work, check all the bolts behind the wheel. Even the sway bar.

          Hopefully something is just loose.

Bill now that you mention that I think that's what it might be but I'll check both things, and Josh I don't have a rear sway I've got an lx, but I will be getting rear discs so I will soon

I have the same problem with my sedan.. it was like that with the teins, ksports, and the d2s. Its not my suspension obviously.. I too get the pop sound every so often on a slope or uneven pavement. I have no idea what it is. I have checked all the bolts and there tight.

I had it with drums and disc brakes.. I think it could be the bushings going bad. I want to replace them with prothane ones but not anytime soon.

could it be the arm hitting something when you go back down?

They are nex type ss it's a full suspension cool over kit I'll just up one side and if the spring separates I'll be guessing it's that, after I eat breakfast I'll go out and see

I know for sure it's not the upper arm I've double checked that Its got a good inch of space and it's a wikked tuning camber kit

It's the springs poping back into place I raised the car a tad, not enough to stop it because if I did that it would be about 2" higher then the front lol and I'd have a 2-3 finger gap which I don't like, and it only happens at this 1 gas station because the slope to get up to it is kinda steep
