    D2 Coilovers

i just lowered my car more and now it's way to bouncy. I think the kid at my job lowered it from the turn thing under the spring. i guess he mess up my spring rate. i know sure... how can i fix this

damn cj lol. well like i showed you before. the only way to lower them more is to just take out the damper fork in the front then adjust.

for the rear you would have to take the lower bolt and nut then adjust..

what your coworker did is just make the little spring move around so its going to feel really shitty

and now you need to re-preload the springs too.

you can preload them while on the car. just LOOSEN (not remove) the top nut, adjust the lower spring collar until it touches the spring, then tighten the top nut. this is how i did it on my omnipowers. i'm assuming it's the same on the D2s. ride height is separate, as you should know.

Try raising your suspension up as high as you can.

Then check if the bounciness is still there.

You might be just riding your bump stops.

Also, you have to let the springs break-in.

Depending on your regular commute, it might take a couple of weeks.
