    17x7 35 offset, how low?

    Hi,

Well I've been reading for days on this forum about offset, wheels, width and tires. I hate to post this but I need some advise from people actually running the setup and not people saying "I think it will rub".
I seen some members use this setup, others say it won't work and modification is needed (fender roll, caliper sanding). JoeyBoy_cb7 MRT he was using this setup with Omnipower coilovers but didn't mention how low he was.

Is anyone running a 205/45/17 on 17x7 with 35 offset & how low are you or how low can one possible go?

I am 2" low now, but am thinking of going lower. I've read it will fit perfect as long as you are not lower than 2".

    Your thoughts?

Wheel design may dicate caliper clearing or not.

Tire size will affect outcome as well

17x7 + 35 seems reasonable. I have 17x8 + 20 on my cd5 and that is pushing the limits. 17x7 should be fine I would think

I would agree. Camber kit installed, 205/45/17's.

I am currently running almost that setup. 17x7 +45 205/45/17's I have FFt1's so I am not sure how low I am right now in relation to stock height. The pic is her current daily height.
But I am high enough to keep my tires in good shape until I install my camber kits.
When I had my H&R race (2.75" drop) I had NO fitment, NO clearance and NO camber issues.
I would say you can be 3" to 3.25" before camber becomes an issue.
I also have had her lowlow, and have not had fender clearance issues w/ +45.
I had some (absolutely hideous) 17x8 with a 0 offset on her while I was refinishing those ^white wheels. This is what that looks like.
I had a taco craving the entire time I had em.
        Project wagon! Much excite! 2018!

        That Sedan. Purchased '07-->Swap'd-->Tuck'd-->Wreck'd-->May '16

          taco craving, lol.

Alright thanks all. It took weeks to find the rims i want and those were the specs. I plan on going Function and Form 1's with full camber kit. Currently i am 2" drop on Eibach springs. From what I read this is the limit in offset, tire size, etc before stuff starts happening.
