yes you will need the crank position sensor the engine wont run without it and depends on the tranny if its and H or F(except the s2000 tranny you wont need an adapter plate but anything else you will

The position sensor when converting to obd1 is internal to the dizzy. Hes saying you dont need the pickup on the shaft itself which is around the pulley area.

          From the swap FAQ:
          Using an OBD2 engine such as the 97+ H22A4 or Type-S H22A:
The easiest way to accomplish this goal is to use the OBD-1 distributor, Injectors, and ECU. I’m not going to get into converting the OBD-1 Cb7 to OBD-2a since almost no one will be doing this.
Then if Im wrong, I assume the above quote would then be reffering to an obd1 H22 Dizzy, and injectors? Or what?
The G-Man, could you tell me exactly what is wrong with my post? Also if you didnt notice, I said to jump in and reply, cause this is exactly what I read straight from the swap FAQ! Meaning I am also curious to know IF they are interchangeable>? Please be MORE specific! remember every single swap is a little different!
DAMIEN: get to MAK tomorrow and tell them you need whatever dizzy they owe you lol, one less thing off your list! Also tell them you want that iab box replaced, cause those things are kinda scarce around here.

I said that because the F22A distributor does not bolt on the H22A head, and using F22 fuel injectors will not work. Fuel rail is fine, but injectors no.

What I would do if I were him, which happens to be what I am doing, is to swap all the internal parts from the OBD-I F22 distributor that came with the car, whether it be internal coil (90-91) or external (92-93), into the H22 distributor case. That means take everything out, including the shaft and switch them.
Oh, I have two IAB boxes that are not broken that I can sell.

Yea I can, Your version of an obd1 distributor was an ACCORD Distributor. We are talking about a 92-95 h22a or h23a distributor. You said F22A which DOES NOT WORK with an h22a whatsoever.

Also yea I fail at making posts I was thinkin about camshaft sensor when I was talkin about the cranks sensor and so on.

Lmao, thats funny, I was just wondering, cause I remebered reading a long while back that the f22a obd1 dizzy wouldnt work, you had to work with an h22 dizzy but I failed to agknowledge that, as he as of right now, only has an f22a obd1 dizzy, but thank you for clearing that up for us.

Another question? What about f22b2 from 94+ accord they are vtec, sohc, so I doubt it but just curious!

The G-Man: Are the injectors simply dont have enough flow rate?(too small)
                  Thanks for the advice!
I'm sure well keep you in mind once we are closer to the actual install. Still needs rebuild stuff and obviously, distributor and such!

                    not whatsoever nail,
the external 92-93 f22a1 dizzy cap/leak case has the same honda part number as the h22 92-95 external cap/leak case.

edit: but that just if your going external or msd.
you have to pick what you want to go.

True I guess it depends. I just got an h23a external and called it a day. That was before I knew I could swap over the internals or attempted to lol. I knew I could interchange the items inside such as the coil if you were internal or the ignitor itself.
