just get a crow bar with a head that will fit in the timing gear hole and can wedge in the fly wheel teeth so when you go to brake the nut loose with a breaker bar it wont move. sounds ghetto but it works and no damage to to fly wheel or any thing.
also if you get a new egr gasket its the same as the accord since you are swapping it over from the stock accord engine.
i would do the diy plenium spacer for the intake mani as this engine has nice torque and gains a nice amount in the low end wear it needs the power.or get a blacktrax spacer. and also a bisi intake to head heat gasket because you will also gain a few hp from the cooler intake air temp.
maybe a new clutch and fly wheel bisi sells nice ones on his site for like $350 for the flywheel and clutch and there quality products and only have a 20% stiffer over oem clutch feel.
balancer belt removal search what you need to buy or diy because since the motor is out free hp from getting rid of those useless heavy shafts.

    Sold too: Grumpys93, '93CB7Ex, Bunta, prodh22accord, SSMAccord, fleetw00d

welll.. heres an update the guy sent me the wrong distributor. he advertized a H23 distributor then i just pulled it out of the box and the tag says 92-95 honda prelude and the distributor says 92 honda accord 2.2L in black marker.. damn... also its not even close to fitting so i know its the accord one.

edit: alright another update for tonight, i got all the grease off of the front side of the block so now im going to start on the back side from taking off the intake mani and such and cleaning all that up.. As for the dizzy i think im just goin to go ahead and put the 30amp fuse for the black and yellow wire to use the current internal coil dizzy so im gonna try that.. so here i go on to the back side of the block.. ill snap some pictures of the front side tonight hopefully they will come out.

good luck with the swap. looks like you've got everything under control. you got a pretty good deal on the swap since it came with a trans even though (auto's are a whole lot cheaper). the swap is a lot of fun but can be frustrating. just take a break when you get too pissed off. i didn't and got nothing done during those times.

                        I love that thing.

Much better then trying to wedge something in the flywheel LOL

One of the best purchases I have ever made.

I have made my money back on it from people who don't have one and need to remove one bolt LOL

201 Whp H22a with bolt ons, see the progress from stock f22a to now HERE

                            Update 1-Dec-08
ok guys a little update. I cleaned the back side of the motor off and i went ahead and went to pick-n-pull and yanked a Engine harness off of a 92 LX cuz all the ex's where 5spd and the one that was auto someone yanked the tranny and cut the harness. soo. i brought it back home and the only thing that is wrong with it is the plug that plugs into the TPS sensor the clip is broken, just the clip part, because the car it was in looked like it hit a semi and the motor was smashed up against the firewall. so we will see how that works out..
The O2 sensor plug was in the front obviously but i striped all the wire loom off of the harness down to bare wire to check it out and make sure there was no damage and replaced it all with brand new wire loom. while i was in the process the O2 sensor wire is the exact same leingth as the EX wire and without the wire loom you just move it to the back of the motor and re wrap the harness, Now its in the exact same spot as it is in my EX so that was perfect, now the harness looks like new and im happy with it.. everything fits perfect as far as reaching the plugs and everything.

Obviously since it came out of an LX it doesn't have the IAB box so i will just run it to vacuum now and plug it into the unused port on the Intake mani. I am going to go ahead and purchase a new TQ converter while i have the tranny out, better to be safe than sorry right so that will be taken care of as far as stuff in the tranny portion..

Instead of waiting to pull my motor and swap the parts over im just going to go to pick-n-pull after i get paid and snatch a fuel rail, EGR valve, and water neck to put on it since im trying to get as close to drop in and run as i can get it.. Also i can get the stuff for like $20 lol.. One more thing also is im going to go ahead and snatch the Prelude Power steering line since im going to reuse the prelude pump.

Im going to take the Alternator to Checker tomorrow and have them test it to see if its still good and whatnot. soo. i also think im going to see how much an a/c compressor is at pick-n-pull not to use it but for test fitting and whatnot if its cheap enough.. we will see how that goes..

well thats it for tonight, i will keep you guys posted and when the time comes to swap ill take plenty of pics possible for help for someone else in the future so they can see picture refernces cuz i know that helps..

Also as far as swapping the motor it wont be in december anymore due to time and my pay gettting screwed up and not having time to purchase the rest of the parts so it will happen sometime between the 7-22 of Jan..

alright guys another update, i went to the JY and got a few stuff and tonight i swapped the Water neck, A/C compressor bracket, Fuel rail, and cleaned and swapped the EGR valve out. I took the oil pan off a few nights ago to check the dent out and make sure it didn't damage the pickup and it did not so i went ahead and degreased the whole thing out and put set it on a board and also put one in the inside and hit it twice with a hammer and bam! took the dent out, I was also going to install it tonight then i realized i dont have any gasket maker for the little part where your supposed to put some on so im gonna run to the store tomorrow and pick up a tube and also get the Alternator checked out to see if its still good so i can use that one and go ahead and purchase the two belts needed so that i can have that stuff ready and good to go..
So far i need fluids all the way around and two belts, and also a Prelude power steering line. oh and some new coolant hoses aswell all the way around. Also i picked up a bunch of vaccume lines today so i should be covered on that end.

alright well the swap has been on a stand still for a while. but im getting back into it right now.. The most recent problems however is something is draining my battery deader than a hammer so what i did was ended up buying a new battery and installing a kill switch to eliminate whatever it is from reaching the battery to drain it.. we will see how that goes..
