with the frm lining in the h22 block you would have to find a shop that can do that or have steel sleeves put in, I think I would just stick with the f22 head and block and go from there, no sense in trying to reinvent the wheel.besides the f22 is 85mm bore and the h22 is 87mm bore so for sure you would need head work. I'm pretty sure someone has done the f22 head and h22 block. but if you feel like you would want to do this go right ahead.

You're not going to hear "oh it's not vtec" on here. We understand how much potential the F22A head has on this site!
The H22A block would give a nice boost in compression, but frankenstein headswaps are often unreliable... especially in the hands of a beginner.
If you ever want to replace the pistons, you'll be limited to Mahle Gold Series pistons, or OEM H22 pistons.

its still a drop in you have to play with crossmember and wiring. i wouldnt mind doing it but i dont have a spare cb to sit. after income tax i plan on getting 1 if not 2 more cbs and mine will then become a toy
but yeah the v6 swap is looking like the one to do specialy since the wife wants to do it.

ha i always get her support the only reason i couldnt get the bisi header like planed was the cb went down and the we got a youngn thats gonna be here any day now. so she asked me to wait.
most of them are a drop but the mounts are different which is gonna be the fab part. ive been spending a good bit of time in the wifes cg2 v6 which is wicked from a 20 pull.....
i heard from a buddy that honda has a v6 out now that have a snail stock... anyone confirm?
