f22b1 HELL!!!

someone please help me i have no clue what the crap could be wrong with my car. i have 92 lx coupe i swapped in the f22b1. follwed all the directions. it fires and runs like sh**.. barley hittin on three cylinders. if anyone could help i would be amazed.. im runnin thpoa ecu fyi

the best thing to do is to double check absolutely everything. start from checking the timing and ignition system, then wiring, then make sure all engine maintenance is done (no oil leaks on plugs, etc) and go from there

well nevermind im out of the cb7.. done with it.. tradin it for a cavalier lol. Dont have anymore time too mess with it...

lol i know trust me.. but i been workin on this thing forever and cant figure out why its running like poop. i would love too stick it out but ive been through everything i can think of and still no luck. would be nice if there was one way too do this swap right. but seems evryone has done different things and incomplete unspecific right ups arent much help.

Try getting your injectors clean or change out the resistor box, I bet it's something simple.

That would do it if you're running a 94-95 F22B1 P0A ECU. Common issue with B1 swaps.


EDIT: Oh yeah... bTW. Don't give up man. It's one of the worst feelings in the world to do something to your car (first time or otherwise) and not have it work out...

BUT...

It is also one of the best feelings in the world to overcome the issues and reach your goal. IMO the hard part is over... just keep your head up and keep trying to figure it out. You'll get it. You've come this far...
