I just got through having a h22a with a h2a5 5 speed f22 tranny installed in my car. The Major issue is this, I have a 91 CB that was auto. Now that we have done the swap, everything is in however my shift cables are too short. We first tried CD5 cables on a 91 shifter and they were too short. ( only did that cause someone sold us CD5 cables saying they were cb7 ones) So we tried 92 cb7 cables on a 92 CB7 shifter, ....same problem..... the cables are coming up about 1 to 2 inches too short. I have yet to try the lude cables, but have heard that they are a lil longer......has anyone had this issue or can anyone help please?

I used my 93 cables. Didn't even have to remove them from the boot. Sounds like your 92 cables should of worked, but you mentioned this car use to be auto too. Almost sounds like you do not have the proper cables.Last edited by Raf99; 04-09-2010, 09:10 AM.

How are you routing them? The shifter cables should go over the rear beam of the Sub-frame and not underneath. I am in the process of finishing up with my 5-speed swap and my cables are all hooked up and ready to go. Btw my cables came from a 5th gen accord so it shouldn't matter which cables you have.
p.s. my accord is a 90 lx

Yea your routing is wrong man, are you going under the crossmember?
I converted from Auto to manual aswell with parts from many different cars lol
Maybe you could take a few pictures?Last edited by CB7Man; 04-28-2010, 02:22 AM.
