help on a h swap.

im getting my h22 swap on my 91 ex the guys who are gonna do the swap said i can keep my trans and motor mounts i have a p13 ecu right now with my single cam can i use that ecu? and what tips would you guys reccomand??? i wanna be able to enjoy my swap with out spending dumbless money on it! what kind of things should i look for??

the guys that told you that you can use your tranny they are right i did my swap about 4 month ago i used my tranny my axles and my motor mount i was also on the same boat as you wanted to enjoy my swap with out spending alot of money ...... but.............. my car is still not running right it bogs out when i give gas cant figure it out ...... i hope that will help you out and ya you can use the p13 ...... im using a p28 chipped i would also recommend using the h22 injectors i used the f22 and its giving me problems my cousin is using the h22 injectors and no problems he had the f22 in it and he had the same problem like me

thanks!!! but damn! i know ive been reading a couple threads and most of em said the same shit it bogs! well im getting mines done at a shop and the dude said he would give me all that/ he said... engine,ecu,basically everything but trans,mounts, for $1850 but i dont wanna do it then have problems!

the boggin issue seems to be a common thing for "some" i changed a lot of things in search of the source, i recently changed my clutch and flywheel(bisi) and the car runs way better and i also got a test pipe installed, no more boggin for me

thats cool i know i read that eveywhere lol. its my cb's frist and the only swap i just want it right running good too.. what ecu did you use??

i bought the engine for 700 my p28 for 130.00 paid 300 to drop it in and thats it bought oil antifreeze and wat not so all together 1100 but it does not run so it sucks dont have the money to take it too tuner shop but i think my problem is my injectors check this out my car wont even start with the map sensor pluged in so i have to leave it un pluged

I had the bogging issue. It was my timing that was off. Timing from the distributor was off, just tweaked it a bit, and now my cars a champ CB7 in my town, lol.
