I have here an Accord with a tired F20A3 motor, I plan on putting in a better running F20A5, but don't want to bother with the whole EFI conversion process. So what I want to know is if the carb intake manifold & all from the F20A3 will bolt to the F20A5 head, and what other problems I may run into on this particular swap? I couldn't find any info from searching the site. It looks pretty simple, but it's the jobs that look easiest that turn out to be the most bitchiest lol

The head ports are different (The EFI head has injector spray cutouts)Originally posted by A18A View PostI have here an Accord with a tired F20A3 motor, I plan on putting in a better running F20A5, but don't want to bother with the whole EFI conversion process. There are a few other differences, such as: The EFI motor has a different camshaft, and compression ratio, and for memory the valves are a different size.
I'll see if I can dig up some of my old stuff, and give you a better answer tomorrow.

Yea much the same, I remember looking into the A20 EFI conversion also, and gave up on the amount of work required.Originally posted by A18A View PostI figured it would be something like that, sounds just like the A20 with their carbs & EFI differences
You know, we really should meet up one day
