So, can a JDM H22 be used with my USDM F22 tranny?

Or will I need a JDM tranny to go with the motor?

Even like F20B to F22A* automatic transmissions just for example?
this is true, there will be minor adjustments, for example i have an auto h23 tranny mated to my f22, and just had to tap two holes that were already drilled, the f20c in the other hand is an engine thats set way different from normal f/h series, first off it sits sideways like our would be like ---- where the f20c is | also it spins opposite of ours, however there is a company out there that has an f20c-to-h adapter, only one car that i know of has this set up, i think its blox not sure though.

not at all, the one thing you might want to do is try to get a hold of a tranny with LSD (no its not acid)
have you tried doing some research on the swaps section? theres a great deal of information there, as well as a thread of which engines and trannies can go in the cb7 with minor modification

I don't think f20c to h is possible because the f20c spins clockwise while the h spins counter clockwise so you would have 5 reverse gears lol even with the adapter plate, and if you put an h engine to the rwd trans you would have to make your engine spin backwards, I know theirs an f20c to K adapter and a civic is running it
