    Compression Qustion

What im looking for is the compression per cylinder for the H22 and F20B. What should the numbers look like for each motor?

    Thanks in advance

An F22Ax should have a compression reading of 175 or higher on each cylinder. What really matters though is that the numbers across the cylinders are close to each other. My accord last compression tested at 185/180/185/185. I believe H22's should be in the 200's, but don't hold me to that. What are your numbers right now?

just do the test and post the numbers, that's easier for someone to say GOOD or BAD to

you could get anything from all around 210 to all around 250, if anything is wrong you almost always get heavy variation in the numbers (over 20%, they're usually within 10% of each other)

if you just want to see if a motor is good, just worry about variation, you won't have 4 bad cylinders unless it has a metal rod through the block
