Anyone know how to get this thing off?? The screw is out, cap is off and the thing is parallel to the valve cover, a screwdriver won't pry it off either......????

If this is the same dizzy as the F22A, then all you gotta do is pull real hard. It is a bitch though, if I remember correctly.

use the thin red tube thing and drip a tiny bit of pb blaster in the screw hole, where the metal piece in the rotor meets the shaft. jiggle and pry and pull and eventually itll pull off. it gets STUCK...

I think I remember breaking mine off with a hammer. Then I removed the screw because it was much easier to remove. Then replace it with a F22A's rotor. Therefore no more screw. Well, I am not sure if the H23/H22's have a screw holding them down. The F22's fits the same.

If you have not rounded the philips screw, then get the largest philips screwdriver that fits and use it after some PBblaster or WD40. If that still don't work, (probably remove distributor from car and put in vise) I'd look into rotating distributor/engine until screw is up at 12 oclock and using a impact driver/hammer combo on it to jar the screw loose (if you have not rounded it off). If you have rounded it off, there is a special tool designed to remove rounded off screws, it digs itself into it as you turn it. I've purchased these special tools over time because it's more of a common thing in Michigan dealing with rust.
