    Ecu Diefferences

hi i would like to know why obdo ecu will not work with a h22
is there a way to convert the obdo to a obd1 (pretty sure there is a way) as im told
p.s. anyone in the midwest that did there own swap?
since my accord is a 90 the ecu's are different then the 92-93 ecu which makes the swap more difficult? what are my problems here?
or am i just making things too complicated for myself???

There is no OBD-0 ECU for the H22A. The H22 didn't come out till 1992 in Japan and 1993 in the US both being released with an OBD-1 ECU. Why would you want to run an OBD-0 ECU anyway? There is so much potential now with OBD-1 it would be rediculous to do anything else.
    My unupdate website Speedworx-online.com, lol. <click here>.

no what i was saying was that i currently run a (odbo) right now in my accord since it is a 90 accord and not as up to date as the 92-93 ecu's (obd1) which i will need to swap out for a obd1???
or will the obdo work with the h22 swap? **i need help**

90 accords arent OBD0... they are OBD1 along with the rest of the 4th gen accords. so if you drop the motor in, but use the entire accord wiring harness with the H22 ECU at the other end of it, itll work perfect

does our axle and spindle work with the 22?

yea because this guy says to use the accord harness too.
and he says the vtec won't be working with out a vtec controller or what not did you use one or what did you do mike?

sounds like this guy doesnt really know what hes doing, at least for getting the h22 to work... print out and show that thread to him (the swap FAQ by bustedLX)... if you run the extra wires for vtec, u dont need a controller.

theres not even a computer behind the gauge cluster, so who knows wtf hes talking about there.

and yeah you use the accord axles/hubs/everything. its all covered in that thread
