So do you still have the Prelude high pressure line? I just got one from a H23 today and when it gets here I am going to weld it to the Accord line.. a very simple task to do.

I still have the half cut Prelude high pressure line, I might not need it any more now since the accord one seem to work just fine now.

I was going to offer some money, but I got a cut line from a H23 engine and it bolts right up to the H22 pump so I'm just going to braize the H23 line to the Accord line and I'll be set.

I did have my accord pump on there but it sat too high for my CF hood. I like driving without power steering though, so I am just leaving the belt off until I really want P/S.

            just buy one

I just installed my h22a yesterday, I ordered a High Pressure Line from Advance Auto Parts. It cost only $115.84. other places where charging about $200 for the line.

Is POWER STEERING worth it. I left my PS off on my Auto H22 swap and it never bothered me. You just have to get used to it. It made it harder to parallel park but other than that, I loved it. You can feel the road better.

                Just my 2 cents...Good luck.

True, it just depend on the area where u need to drive, I have to drive to baltimore and D.C for to work so parking space is very limited and parallel and small parking space is normal, so power steering is for me, if you live in big area and has plenty of open parking space there no need for p/s, plus without it u can gain back about 3-5hp, so it not worth it unless it an every day thing.

I spent about $3 braizing the lines together. Why go waste that much money?

I don't even have power steering now. I just left the belt off for now, until I get to Florida probably and I will probably end up keeping it off for a while.

OK, so there is a cheap way of doing this by brazing the lines together, but if one is looking at the easiest way to go at one shot and with as much OEM parts as possible, can you buy the Prelude H22a Power Steering line and use that with the Accord steering rack and the Prelude power steering pump without any other modifications?

I just ask because everywhere I look there has not been a definitive final answer on that. Can you just buy a new Prelude power steering line and bolt it directly in to work with the Prelude H22a power steering pump with the swap?

                      Thanks,

So you're using the Prelude power steering pump? What pulley do you have on there? My Prelude power steering pulley has a huge gash taken out of it probably from shipping or something and I don't know if I can use the Accord pulley on the Prelude pump.

Anyone got a Prelude P/S pulley for sale? Or can I use the Accord pulley, and what kind of belt would I use for that? I know the accord pulley is bigger than the prelude one.

The 'lude one is the same the accord.

And for Eric91Z, I used a pressure line from a '95 VTEC 'lude. It fit right in. Bent it a bit to clear my sway bar but that's the extent of the mods.
