i have a 92 accord ex coupe and i'm pretty much stuck. i want to modify it but don't know what to put else to put on the car. i want something not too out there like a h22 swap. my car already has a coilover suspension, short ram intake, projector head lights, and 3'' obx exhaust. any suggestions?

Well it sounds like youve got a good start.

Maybe rims?

A motor swap is a very involved process. It isnt hard but it takes $ and dedication.

The h22 is a direct swap for the most part side some wiring and tuning.

Search through the DIY section to get some ideas of mods and things to do, and in the end be creative.

No motor swap for you.

You need around 1500-2500 for a complete motor swap.

Thats covering problems that may arise and extra parts etc.

The motor alone with tranny is around 800-1250 iirc.

If all you have is 500 id say get a set of rims.

do sway bars, best suspension mod i did hands down....over traction bar, full coilovers and bushings. makes your car feel totally different

yea i already have 17" nissan rims. those sway bars don't sound like a bad idea.. do you know about how much they run for?

does anyone know what the best short shifter is for a 92 accord and how hard it is to put it in?

I dont think there is a "best" short shifter for the 9093 accords.

B&M make a good short shifter.

Yeamans17 used to do custom short shifters....

Id say, if not strut/sway bars, then maybe some cam gears or a delta, as said above

plenty of cheap upgrades

hyperground system, voltage stabliizer, headlight harness upgrade, does your obx exhaust include a header or just cat-back.? strut braces all around. most of these cost minimal. have you upgraded your stereo at all. i just redid my trunk floor.

the Acura Vigor sway bar is like 10 bucks at the local salvage yard if you can find it there.

h23 IM manifold swap w/ TB and a prelude 3 inch CAI, I got both for like 120 used from fellow CB7tuners here. Sounds good and gives better mpg, oh and a gnarly sound at WOT. i like it.
