ECU location?

I was wondering where exactly your ecu is, and how to remove it? I tried searching for this, but kind of hard since 'ecu' is too short for the search criteria.

Its located under the carpet on your passenger side.

I think its just 4 bolts holding it in place, so if you losen those, it should come out

Under the carpet on the passenger floorboard is a metal plate. ECU and TCU (if applicable) are bolted to the bottom of that plate. You could have tried "ECU location" in the search engine.

I did. But since "ECU" is only three letters, the search engine completely ignores that term, therefore only returning results for "location".
