ok so i have an H22 and i lost compression in cylinder 3. all the other have 210. i also seem to be having electrical problems like my resistor box readings were to high (20.6). also my distributor coil burnt out, out of no where. so my question is can these problems be related, like is there a way the electrical problem could be causing the 0 compression or does it have to be piston or valve related for 0 compression to happen? example could an electrical problem or vtec problem cause a valve to get stuck open? any thoughts, come on this will determine if the car lives or dies! thanks.

well when i got the car started it was very rough and wouldnt stay running, the exhaust smelt like fuel and the plugs fouled very quickly.Originally posted by Fake Thug View Postdid you leak test it too?...Check your fuel/spark systems over, possible shorting/arcing somewhere.

well even if that were true, it wouldnt cause the 0 compression, right?Originally posted by quickangel93 View Postyour spraying to much fuel. needs a tune.

i could. i mean if your a/f is like 9 or 8ish. i could be to hot for the piston rings or pistons. are the spark plugs soaked?Originally posted by kit-to-lip View Postwell even if that were true, it wouldnt cause the 0 compression, right?miss my turbo cb7

put Cyl 3 at TDC, screw in the leak down tester into the spark plug hole and hook shop air to it.
if you here/feel air from:
PCV port = Rings
throttle body = intake valve stuck open/bent/burnt etc.
out the exhasut = Exhaust valve ^^^
Bubbles in the coolant = head gasket.
I was also taught that if you do a wet compression test (tsp of oil in the cylinder prior to the test) and it jumps up alot, that the rings are likely a problem.
Just bring that car to N. GA and i will trade you even steven.
