OK car still wont start thread.

I have checked for spark at the plugs and fuel at the rail im still stuck.

Could the igniter be too weak ?

Or could my key switch be burnt out ? help.

well if u have fuel and spark, the only other things it needs to run is air and compression...

i have spark i have litteraly seen it. Im sure I have fuel. Although when i removed the service screw on the fuel rail it didnt shoot a foot into the air it just mildy gushed. I have ran a compression test and only one was truely too low . it was 125 130 140 95. So the timing belt is on.

        Help

any how i had me igniter checked to day and it came out fine. I also checked the main fuel relay. Next up Ill check the resistance of the injectors and the voltage they are getting. And ill check the resistor box. Im not sure why this thing isnt working . any ideas?

When in doubt about why an Accord won't start, just replace the dist.

but i just tested the ignitor i think it has more to do with fuel/fuelpressure/ijectionpulse/ect

i was a cheap fuk and put together a dizzy one time from civic/teg/accord parts.

i got spark, but wouldnt turn over.

i learned not to be a cheap ass and put a real dizzy in.

                it worked.

                    those are not-so-pretty compression numbers...

how exactly DO you kno you have fuel? cause if you do have spark, the only things left to check would be making sure timing is DEAD ON.

i know i have fuel because i checked the servicve bolt on the fuel rail wil the fuel pump primed. I do think tho the injectors might have something to do with this i still have to check the injector box and injectors then test the fuel pressure. THEN ill purchase a freaking distributor.

Oh btw my distributor has been replaced before and wasnt made from abunch of spare parts. but you just never know

another possibilty from a swap i did way back:

                        bad gas.

the car sat around for a few months.

acutally that is a viable option bacause my car has sat for a few months but enough for it not to start? I sprayed some starter fluid and i can smell it coming out the pipe. So when you did that thing with the distributor why do you think it didnt work
