Blowoff valve sound from FGK header w/ b-pipe

So I received an FGK header from bmxicansd (craig, thanks again), along with the fgk b-pipe.

After polishing/installing and all the cosmetics, I noticed something different other than the hp gain and "normal" sound of the header. I noticed after revving at a certain revolution, it tends to imitate a blow off sound effect. It actually sounds really nice and aggressive. But I'm curious if I am the only one experiencing this. No there are no exhaust leaks.

All is tight as can be.

    Please listen carefully.

Hear it? The 2nd rev is the most clarified tone. Any suggestions or feedback. No complaints on my part. I just want to know why it sounds like this.

I can't hear it in the video, but if it's happening just like a BOV (a quick sharp hiss immediately after you let off the throttle), then I had the same thing happen to me when I got my IHE finished. It was explained to me that the cause is a vacuum that's created inside the upper plenum when the throttle plate closes off the inflow of air. (because the engine still spins after you let off the throttle) The noise you hear is air leaking back past the throttle plate because the vacuum is sucking it into the UP. I don't know why you notice it more now, unless it's just the better flow making it more noticeable.

or it could also be a pinhole exhaust leak.

I didn't hear anything but the first thing that comes to mind is a (exhaust)leak.

                            hey brotha..

is your VAFC hooked up with a boomslang.uk harness?
If so, when I had mine hooked up some of the wires were hooked up incorrectly.
You just might wanna make sure it is the proper way!

Im hoping you did the wiring yourself. Enjoy!

I couldn't hear anything either. I have never reved my motor like that since i put the header on, so i should try it. I have noticed a sound when im pulling from low rpm's to a mid rpm's, it's kind of hard to explain. But it does sound nice and mean. I have no leaks either.

thanks craig! u got me the best header for the price.
